After gathering customer feedback it appears that some Stage II fuel pins are grooving. I researched the issue and found that a different type of material was machined without my knowledge. I stopped production; re tooled and now have a different process to fabricate fuel pins. The fuel pins are now heat treated stainless that exceed even the hardness of the stock fuel pin. Grooving will no longer be an issue.
